Neil A Burns, LLC invests directly and alongside private equity companies, in the chemical sector and provides operating and strategic advice to chemical companies.  Mr. Burns is a specialty chemicals executive with 20+ years experience in finance, sales, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing and on boards of directors. Mr. Burns participated as an investor / manager in the leveraged buyout of  the $100 Million specialty chemical company, Pilot Chemical. He recently, created two US businesses for an Indian oleochemical and consumer goods company, VVF Ltd, culminating in the acquisition of a consumer goods manufacturing plant from Colgate Palmolive.  Mr. Burns also incorporated, started and ran the US subsidiary of Brazilian company, Ultrapar (NYSE: UGP). Originally from the UK, Mr. Burns has lived and worked in Europe. He has set up businesses for specialty chemical companies in Europe, South America, Asia, India. Mr. Burns has served as chairman of a non-profit board, with a focus on  fundraising and public speaking. He earned an MBA with distinction from Wharton and a BS in Chemistry from the University of York, UK.
