Investment Criteria:
We look for companies with strong management teams, a history of earnings growth and opportunities for additional growth which we can support with investment. Such additional growth opportunities include acquisitions, geographic expansions, capacity investments and major development initiatives.
We work closely with private owners to help them diversify their financial assets and transition ownership in a way that meets their estate and financial planning needs. We are particularly adept at working with company founders and family owners who wish to transition ownership in stages thus benefiting from part of the value creation upside of our capital investment, while taking some of their own “chips off the table”.
Of additional interest are corporate spin-outs / carve-outs, where the parent company no longer considers the business to be core and will not be able support it with the appropriate capital and management attention.
